New Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41
The echo of origins

Rolex has made its most quintessential watch, the Oyster Perpetual, the symbol of the Oyster’s 100th anniversary. Among the new versions unveiled in 2026, an ‘anniversary’ edition forges a link between past accomplishments and feats yet to come, thereby perpetuating the echo of its origins.

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is offered in an unprecedented configuration – a yellow Rolesor version – that expresses with strength, simplicity and elegance the quintessence of a wristwatch according to Rolex.

A revisited aesthetic signature

A true Rolex signature since the early 1930s, Rolesor is a marriage of metals, combining gold and steel in a duet where refinement meets robustness. The Oyster Perpetual 41 in a yellow Rolesor version reinterprets this aesthetic concept with a bezel and winding crown crafted from yellow gold, paired with a case and bracelet in Oystersteel. These touches of yellow gold are reminiscent of the case and bracelet on some of the first Oyster watches. Usually, the bracelet on yellow Rolesor versions of Rolex watches combines the two alloys.

A celebration of the Oyster’s centenary

On the slate dial, the inscription ‘100 years’ appears at 6 o’clock in place of the usual ‘Swiss Made’ marking. Moreover, each five-minute interval on the minute track is denoted by a green square, and the name ‘Rolex’ is pad printed in the same green, the brand’s emblematic colour. The winding crown features the number 100 in relief as well.

A case that has become a symbol of waterproofness

The Oyster case of the Oyster Perpetual 41 is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet). Its middle case is crafted from a solid block of Oystersteel and crowned with a domed bezel. The Twinlock winding crown, fitted with a double waterproofness system, screws down securely against the case. The crystal is made of virtually scratchproof sapphire and benefits from an anti-reflective coating.

A concentration of technology

The Oyster Perpetual 41 is equipped with calibre 3230, a movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This self-winding mechanical movement, which includes a Chronergy escapement and blue Parachrom hairspring, delivers outstanding performance, particularly in terms of precision, power reserve, convenience and reliability. Thanks to its barrel architecture and the escapement’s superior efficiency, the power reserve of this movement extends to approximately 70 hours.

A new Superlative Chronometer certification

This new Oyster Perpetual 41 embodies the strengthened Rolex’s Superlative Chronometer certification. In 2026, the brand is reaffirming its commitment to wearers of its watches by enhancing this certification. Three additional new testing criteria – resistance to magnetism, reliability and sustainability – are now implemented during the design and manufacturing stages of each timepiece. They supplement the criteria established when the certification was redefined in 2015, governing precision, waterproofness, self-winding and power reserve, which are validated during tests conducted on the finished watch.
